1. Function overview

NMEA digital signal conversion synthesizer (model: HC-402) provides 4 channels of serial data input (NMEA0183 protocol) and converts and synthesizes into two channels of serial output (NMEA0183 protocol), the baud rate of each serial port input can be automatically selected: 2400-115200 , The default baud rate of the synthesized output signal is 38400 (the output baud rate can be set to 4800-38400). This product is suitable for: devices with only one serial port input, such as LOWRANCE, RAYMARINE, GARMIN, SIMRAD radar, etc.

2. Instructions for Use

1. The serial port input signal must conform to the NMEA0183 protocol format sentence; for example: heading sentence $HDHDT,123.0,T*2E. 2. When each serial port input signal is converted and synthesized, the original input data will be maintained, and the sentence format has been converted. For example, the original format is as follows: $HCHDT,123.0,T*2E; the output data is also the same, but the baud rate Has been changed to 38400; The sentence has become: $HEHDT,123.0,T*hh;

2)    Output sentence format: The output signal is output in two ways at the same time. The output sentence is the sum of all the sentences after synthesis.
